The National University of Science and Technology (NUST), COMSTECH, and Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) have announced the 'Young Scientists' Fellowship Program (YSFP)' to involve young scientists in real-world research.
The
fellowship programme offers young scientists in the Islamic world—those under
45—the chance to conduct research. YSFP is a component of the MSTF and offers
programmes in the areas of capacity building, networking, and discourse
creation for developing circumstances that will strongly encourage students and
young researchers in the Islamic world to familiarize themselves with
cutting-edge technologies and scientific achievements while gaining from idea
exchange, which will foster the development of science and technology in the
Islamic world.
The
National University of Science and Technology will offer five fellowships to
young researchers from Islamic nations. They will be supervised by NUST
professors from the schools of electrical engineering and computer science,
atta-ur-rahman school of applied biosciences, and school of mechanical and
manufacturing engineering. Before September 15, students can apply for the
programme.
In
order to promote the advancement of science and technology in the Islamic
world, YSTF is providing chances for students and young researchers in the
Islamic world that strongly encourage them to become familiar with cutting-edge
technologies and scientific advancements.
This
goal, which is very effective in addressing crucial concerns facing the Islamic
world, cannot be achieved without the cooperation of institutions from the
scientific and technology fields.
The
MSTF provides programmes in the areas of networking, discourse-making, and
capacity building. The "Young Scientists' Fellowship Program (YSFP)"
is one of these initiatives, offering young scientists in the Islamic world who
are under 45 the chance to do research. The scientific research organisations
of the Islamic world have agreed to work with the YSFP as hosts to researchers.
The
YSFP announces a call for applications that researchers must respond to. The
MSTF Secretariat will assess applicants who have a practical and
problem-solving research proposal and hold a powerful scientific standing.
The
initial winners will now be presented to the host institute for consideration
and final selection. Young scientists, researchers, and technicians under 45
years old, including those with master's degrees, as well as university
lecturers from the Islamic world, will be chosen from among the candidates for
this programme.
The
data supplied in the registration form and the supporting documents serve as
the foundation for evaluating candidates. In three steps, the received
documents will be examined. The nominees who are qualified to receive the
Fellowship will next be chosen by taking into account the scores of persons and
the priorities indicated in the proposal.
